Our Food

Here at the Admiral Rodney our philosophy is to keep things simple. To use the best produce available, sourcing local where possible but importing flavours and ideas from around the world where they complement our local ingredients. Our cooking is all about flavour - often slow cooked for hours.

Our beef, pork and lamb is raised locally , bacon and sausages are crafted traditionally at our local Knightwick butchers 

Our fruit and vegetables are supplied by a local firm in Ross on Wye, using local farms and markets to find the best ingredients. Even the rapeseed oil for cooking is grown and pressed in Herefordshire.

We love the abundance of produce around locally and love it when our friends and neighbours provide fruits from their trees and veg from their gardens. We have a passion for all things wild - we look forward every year to game season.
