Early 17th century farmhouse-cum-alehouse, named after the man who taught Nelson all he knew.
It is on the Worcester way footpath, with wonderful views of Worcester and the Malvern Hills.
Fish – freshly delivered from Cornwall – features strongly: try black bream baked with lime,
hers and chilli; or pan-fried scallops with pureed shallots and basil dressing. Other choices
include home-made pizza; roast duck with spinach mash and orange Grand Marnier sauce; and
various steaks. Good vegetarian selection
Our regular ale is Wye Valley Bitter. We also have three guest ales, some of which come
from local micro breweries such as Woods from Shropshire & Malvern Hills. More
