Welcome to The Admiral Rodney
This beautiful free house is situated in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside. Just seven miles from the city centre, the pub is part of the Worcester Way route & very close to Elgarís birthplace.
Key features of this very pleasant establishment are the friendly staff, our real ales, our fresh food & our wonderful accommodation.
The pub boasts two bars which serve Bird's Eureka and Wye Valley HPA as its regular ales. In addition we also offer two guest beers, which change regularly. Examples include local brewers such as Bird's Brewery, Kinver, Bewdley Brewery, Malvern Hills & Hobsons. We also serve Robinsons of Tenbury local cider and Stowford Press cider and in the summer real perry cider is served on handpull plus wine by the glass. We are also featured in the 2012 Camra Good Beer Guide.
Bar meals are served both lunchtime evening. Favourites include the homemade pie of the day, large, fresh Fish n Chips and the Chef's special of the week. The pub also has a delightful large separate restaurant. Another speciality of the pub is the fish menu, which changes weekly. The fish is couriered directly from Birmingham Fish Market and is used to create superb fresh fish dishes.
Our accommodation has been awarded the AA 4 RED STAR award for excellence. All our rooms are en-suite, with colour TV & courtesy tray. We are also featured in the Room at the Inn guide by CAMRA. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the pub & bedrooms. Please advise if bringing a dog to stay overnight.
As if this is not enough we also have our own skittle alley, which can be hired out for a small fee. Last but not least is the pub garden complete with terrific views of the Malvern Hills.
Do come & see for yourself.
